Shipping Options

Beads by the Dozen ships to all fifty states. We ship all online orders via FedEx and United Parcel Service (UPS), which delivers Monday through Friday (holidays excluded). Overnight delivery is not available on Saturday or Sunday for UPS but a Saturday delivery is available for FedEx at an additional cost.

In addition to Standard Ground service, Beads by the Dozen customers can choose from among the following express delivery options:

Shipments via FedEx and UPS Standard Ground service should arrive within 7 business days from the time an order leaves our warehouse. Express orders ship the same business day, pending order verification, if received by 12 noon CST.

Why Does Shipping Seem So Much?

Beads by the Dozen charges the standard UPS and FedEx published rates along with a $4.00 handling fee. Some people are surprised at how much it costs to ship beads. Simply, beads weigh a whole lot. A case of beads can weigh as much as 35 pounds. Shipping costs depend on the weight of the package(s), the distance to be delivered and the method of delivery - i.e. Ground or Express delivery.

We have made every effort to keep shipping costs as low as possible. We recommend that you place your orders early enough to take advantage of the least expensive shipping method - which is Standard FedEx and UPS Ground which may take up to 7 days to arrive - depending on the shipping destination.

When will my package arrive?

Most orders will process the second business day after you place the order online. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from FedEx and UPS once your package has shipped from our warehouse. Simply click on the link provided in the e-mail notification to check the status of your order. You also have the option of checking your account online at BeadsbytheDozen.com. Your account information includes an Order History that contains your FedEx and UPS tracking number and allows you to check your UPS delivery schedule in real time. ** Please note that it may take 24 hours before tracking information appears on the FedEx and UPS web site.

Merchandise Returns

In the event that you need to return merchandise, please contact us to request an RGA (Returned Goods Authorization) number for FedEx or UPS (call 877.734.9966 or click here to send an e-mail). We must be notified of your desire to return merchandise within 10 days of receipt of your order. All return orders will be charged a 20% restocking fee. We are not able to refund shipping charges.

Sales Tax

Beads by the Dozen charges sales tax on all merchandise purchased by customers residing in the state of Louisiana and Florida, where we have operations.
